A recurrent AVNRT was complicated with a spurious therapy of implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) in one of the 2 patients with ICDs and recurrences of sustained AVNRT; Spontaneous recurrence of AVNRT is not infrequent and can trigger unnecessary ICD therapy in patients implanted with an ICD.
